NAPLES, FLORIDA November 24, 2020— Baby Basics of Collier County (www.babybasicscollier.org) is pleased to announce the appointment of Lauren Faby to the Board of Directors.  Lauren brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the field of Marketing and PR.  A realtor with John R. Wood Properties, Lauren produced and directed Baby Basics’ Virtual Fashion Show, held in November, and has been instrumental in the development of the nonprofit’s marketing plan. “We are excited to add her enthusiasm and dedication to our mission to our team,” announced Jean Ann Lynch, President of Baby Basics.

Earlier this year,  Todd Lyon, Director of Talent Management (physicians Group) NCH and Nolvia Valladares, Business Services Representative, First Citizens Bank were named to the Board of Directors. Both Todd and Nolvia bring essential skills and dedication to our mission at Baby Basics. Todd was an important part of securing a fashion show venue at the Garden of Hope.  He also served on baby Basics’ Strategic Plan Committee.  Nolvia has been a volunteer and a translator for registration forms and has helped at distribution sites for Baby Basics.  Nolvia also serves on the Volunteer Committee.“We look forward to celebrating their contributions,” added Lynch.

These additions come at the close of a very trying year for families and businesses alike. Despite the challenges that COVID-19 presented to our community, Baby Basics celebrated the achievement of distributing 10 MILLION DIAPERS since its inception. We are thankful to our many supporters and volunteers that helped to make this milestone achievement a reality.
